Shooting Sports at Their Best!

Welcome to
Ontario Rod & Gun Club
Ontario Rod & Gun Club is a premier range located on 80+ acres in the Town of Ontario, just east of the City of Rochester in the Great Lakes Region of Western New York. The range sits in the rural community, once called the “Town of Freedom,” settled in 1807 on the southern edge of Lake Ontario. It is home to apple orchards, small farms and people who love country life.
ORGC is one of the area’s oldest sport shooting clubs, with a rich history of Civilian Marksman Programs, trap, rifle and fishing interests, dating back to the 1950s. It’s a growing and active club. Our membership is diverse mix of men and women of all ages, professions and socio-economic levels, all of whom enjoy sporting firearms and their Second Amendment Rights. There is something for everyone.
We offer a Youth Program, Tuesday Night Open Trap, Monthly USPSA pistol competitions (March-November), Hit Factor Practice Pistol Matches (Tues. evening, Apr-Oct), monthly rifle matches, host the New York State High School Clay Target League, partner with the RIT ROTC AF Cadets, Inland Waters Clay Target League, Ontario Women’s League of Shooters (OWLS), Civilian Marksmanship Program, 3 Gun Nation matches, host hunter safety training and a variety of training programs for firearm enthusiasts, and beautiful, well-kept ranges for members to enjoy.
We have a generous community outreach consisting of annual veterans fundraiser events with 100% of the proceeds going to local veterans.
